Hi, my name is Ashika - thank you for being here.
I am a yoga educator who calls many places home.
My ancestral home is Gujarat, India. My birth home is North Carolina. I’ve called Texas home for the last ten years and my newly added "home" is Denver, Colorado.
I am a proud first generation Indian American and I hold both identities strongly with deep passion.
After many years of working with and serving my communities as a social worker, I was called back to my roots to provide holistic mental and physical nourishment through yoga.
Tapping back into my 8 year old self who used to sneak in to my mom's yoga class at the Hindu temple, I found a deep sense of fulfillment and peace. My practice allows me to feel at home wherever I am.
My hope is to share this same feeling of being at home with your body, through the movement, mindfulness and breath of yoga.
Whether in individual practice, group workshops or one of our pop-up community events, I hope to spread access and love for every individual's unique yoga.
Along with my lived experience, I bring formal education and certifications into my offerings and practice.
